Voters will decide in the May primary who will take the Republican candidacy for Oregon Senate District 27, Bend.   Talk of the Town facilitated an Oregon Senate District 27 Candidates Debate with Tim Knopp and Senator Chris Telfer on March 27, 2012, 5:30pm to a standing room only crowd  the Bend Shilo Inns banquet room in partnership with The Bend Tea Party.*

The public was invited to attend and provided an opportunity to submit written questions to the candidates. Questions were also emailed in advance to talk@bendbroadband.com.

"Homelessness Today" panelists, guests, participants and more.

 ”Homelessness Today” debuts TONIGHT (1/23) airing nightly at 6:00 & 11:00pm on BendBroadband‘s COTV 11 & HD 611. With a packed house at Bend’s Community Center, we heard not only from those working with the issue but also those experiencing homelessness now. Interview footage from homeless camps and COVO’s Mobile Medical Unit (Central Oregon Veteran’s Outreach) also included. Talk of the Town went in-studio to talk with our guests  Bill Valentine* and John Lekas*.   Both are renowned financial experts who cover the volatility of today’s stock market and more. 

 •What are you thinking (with regard to the volatility of the market)?
