“Aerial Drones in Central Oregon” – Now Airing*

Unmanned aircraft in the skies above Central Oregon?  We hear about aerial drones in the media and the military, but are we aware of how they might relate to Central Oregon? There is an effort to bring the ‘drone’ industry to our region in a big way yet it is not without controversy.

Talk of the Town discussed drones, also known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and the possible impact locally from the economy to the environment.  We heard from drone industry experts, local pilots, product designers, conservationists and more.  Audience  Q&A.  Find out more.

Talk of the Town hosted a panel to cover and discuss the topic in town hall format on Tuesday, August 2nd, 6:30 pm at the Bend Airport in the Gibson Hangar (a.k.a., “The Red Hangar”).
